Hi Christine,
Great idea!
Change in habits is the key. And the most difficult. One says that one should start with small things.
However I do not believe in that. I have quit smoking and drinking overnight. Period. That is 3 months ago and since then I have not touched a cigaret or alcohol again. But thats me. Other persons might have it more difficult and will face addiction problems when stopping a certain substance. Note that this can equally be fat, sugar, meat or other... You should not only think that one can be addicted only to the drug related substances, people can really be addicted to chocolate or cola... And kicking off these substances can be even more difficult then from real "drugs"
I only wonder if an app on an iphone will really help with people really doing more healthy things.
As you said that makes it even more abstract.
Computers, games etc have made for us to become more relied on our sofa and desk.
But, yes, it could mean something in relationship with another tool for example a digital scale, a measurement that needs to be taken such as the BMI at beginning and during, blood pressure, weight analysis, sugar and other measurements that indicate a healthy way of life or not.
It is too easy to sit behind a screen, and lie to yourself by adding healthy things in virtual reality but not in real life...
Think about this.
Hope to hear from you soon.
